first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, June 27, 2019:A caller stated he was following a vehicle that is towing a boat and that he thinks may be stolen based on the way its driving. Police stopped vehicle in parking lot of Wilmington House of Pizza. Police spoke with operator. Everything checked OK. (4:07am)A North Street resident reported stolen checks. (9:35am)A Lowell Street resident requested an officer due to two female parties entering his residence while he was not home and stated to a painter on scene that they lived there. Resident is now home. Parties left 20-30 minutes ago. Only description is one of the woman wore a gray sweatshirt and had pink/purple hair. (10:21am)A walk-in party stated a tall black man approached her and her two juvenile daughters in front of Starbucks and stated to go with him. They screamed and ran away. Police located man in front of Eastern Bank. Man denied what was reported and was sent on his way. (11:02am)A Butters Row caller reported a gray pickup truck turned around in her driveway and ran over her mailbox. Police unable to locate truck. (1:17pm)A Woburn Street resident reported a family of skunks living in rock wall of home. Babies keep falling out of den with one deceased. Animal Control Officer responded.
