The package includes the controller along with a 2.4G wireless adapter. The controller is powered by a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Thanks to the included wire, the controller can be charged as you play the system. Access to the SNES mini’s home screen is available by pressing both Down and Select on the controller.The controller isn’t that dissimilar from 8Bitdo’s SNES30 Game Controller in design. The only major difference is that the SN30 2.4G controller has a silver front where the buttons are located. Aside from its face buttons, the original SNES controller had a single color tone (as did the SNES30 controller). While not authentic in that regard, it certainly looks stylish and fits the controller nicely.We’ve had Nintendo’s latest miniature system in the office for some time now and we absolutely love it. While the NES Classic Edition is a great little system, the SNES mini can’t be topped. Games like Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and more make this a must-have for all retro gaming enthusiasts.
