first_img Email the author By The Penny Hoarder ‘The one we can always count on’ Latest Stories For nearly 30 years, Powell, as the Pike County Extension agent, was the face of 4-H leadership in Pike County and throughout the district. The Pike County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen Show Committee presented Powell with a packet filled with “Letters to Miss Tammy” from “her” 4-H members. The letters shared personal memories of the many good times as well as the challenges accepted and overcome through her leadership.Ashley Johnson, Pike County Cattlewomen, said Powell’s influence has not been limited to the county’s youth.
